The position of Event Coordinator is a great opportunity who an individual who is looking for a chance to further their career. This position sits within the wider Tourism and Events team, which will allow you on all the various Premier events the City of Melbourne delivers. Part of your role will include assisting with the developing and implementing various elements of programs such as budget, programming and liaising with stakeholders.

You can bring… (Selection criteria)

  • Demonstrated expertise within an Event Coordinator role
  • Experience in event programming, planning, ticket administration and general administration
  • Demonstrated understanding that covers marketing, sponsorship, PR/Media that form various parts of events.
  • High level of communication that incudes verbal, written and listening skills.
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder management and engagement
  • Ability to demonstrate and display City of Melbourne Values – accountability, integrity, courage, respect for self and others, and striving for excellence.
